Olivia and Zach met while at Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. “Zach was about to start his Master’s degree while I was getting my Bachelor’s. I had joined the running club at CMU my freshman year, and Zach had friends that also ran for the club.
It was on the day Sarah and Sam were embarking on a three week Christmas vacation to visit their families in Michigan and then England that Sarah came home to a surprise. “I came home early from work to get ready for our trip, expecting Sam to be home, but he wasn’t,” explains Sarah.
Lauren and Leighton’s love story began when they met in college, but it was under the fireworks over Cinderella’s castle at Disney that Leighton proposed. Lauren wasted no time in planning, even grabbing wedding magazines at the airport on the way home.
Working for the same theater company in Chicago, Jessica and Nicholas were friends for many years before life finally brought them together romantically. "We went on our first date in October, 2015,” says Jessica. “He took me indoor skydiving. He literally swept me off my feet!”
Megan and Nick knew one another for two years before Nick finally asked her out. Megan says, "It took two years and a lot of small talk before he was able to work up the courage to ask for my number." Luckily, Megan decided to give Nick her number and it eventually led to their happily ever after.
When Kaitlin and John moved to California, one goal they had was to watch a beautiful sunset. When John found the perfect private beach for the two to finally get their wish, John knew it was also the right time to propose to his love.
Shannon’s aunt and Richard’s sister were very close friends and the two came up with a master plan to set Shannon and Richard up without them ever knowing. “I was just about to move to Melbourne, Australia for what I thought would be one amazing year of fun and adventure,” says Shannon.
