Posh in Polka Dots: A Style Shoot with Charm and Pizzazz

the VISION

For our one-of-a-kind inspiration shoot, we wanted to take the current trends of 2015 and turn them up a notch. With blush being the color of the year for many brides, we focused on a beautiful ombre to blush palette with pops of gold and the surprise of polka dots.

 

 

 

THE VENUE

The Allure, located in a historic building in LaPorte, is the ideal spot for this stylish shoot. Following the photography, couples poured into the facility for a new kind of bridal show, Inspire Us. 

 

 

 

the CENTERPIECES

The floral arrangements were soft and romantic with protea, roses and vines.

 

 

 

the CEREMONY

Dots made of flower petals lined the aisle, which lead to a bright and playful acrylic arch with hanging orchids, metallic gold polka dots, and crystal globes.

 

 

 

the GOWN

The lace mermaid gown had a hint of blush. It was accented with a black and white polka dot cardigan.

 

 

 

the TUX

This handsome groom wears a three-piece white tux with black trim.

 

 

 

THE CAKE

A tiered butter cream cake took center stage with gold sequins and fresh flowers.

 

 

 

The Décor

A lavish king’s table greeted guests walking into the reception. From the large, crystal floral arrangements down to the gold-dotted menu cards, every detail delighted the senses. Large, gold foil balloons spelled out L-O-V-E and soft pink uplighting enhanced the mirrored walls and the high ceilings.

 

 

 

The HAIR & MAKEUP

Soft, natural makeup and romantic hair adorned with a beaded hairpiece and gold polka-dotted fingernails added up to perfection. 

 

 

 

the FAVORS

Guests were treated to cotton candy in a metallic gold paper cone; whimsical locks and keys; black and white lollipops, and paper candy poppers.
