THE vision

Often times, brides limit their fall weddings to autumn-inspired colors. We gained inspiration from the entire color palette and the garden scenery, provided by the venue. To incorporate an upcoming 2016 wedding trend, we used bronze elements mixed with other metals and wooden accents. This wedding is a combination of elegant, repurposed and romantic design styles.

THE Venue

The Willows on Westfield, located in Broad Ripple, was a perfect fit for our inspiration. The garden chapel and the lodge on the water gave our shoot a variety of backdrops.

THE paper

Pink Poppy Ink was inspired by nature and the pops of color for the wedding’s paper that complement Indiana’s fall color scheme—simple, fresh and fun.

THE ceremony

The antique window pane and shutters surrounded by hanging cloches filled with seeded eucalyptus, fillers and pops of colorful florals, was a beautiful backdrop for the bride and groom, emphasizing the “I do” space.

THE sweetheart table

The intent behind the sweetheart table is to be a romantic and personal area for the bride and groom to celebrate their day. The table is adorned with colorful roses, thistle and stock on top of a seeded eucalyptus garland and paired with a golden ampersand sign.

THE DÉCOR

Design Group did an outstanding job staging all of the elements that make this wedding a stunning event. Personal touches add to the overall experience, especially when guests can learn more about their favorite couple. We added personal sentiments to the bride’s private suite that were reflective of her style and of the autumn season. Outside, we filled an antique suitcase with family blankets for guests to grab as the night got cooler, along with their favorite Sun King beer from the tasting bar.

the bouquets

These fun, colorful, and yet, elegant bouquets were filled with a variety of roses, antique hydrangeas, yarrow, thistle and seeded eucalyptus.

THE dresses

MH Pomander Bridal dressed the bride in a satin-faced organza, Magnolia gown from Carol Hannah. Her accompanying jewelry was from the internationally acclaimed Paris by Debra Moreland. Bella Bridesmaids chose a warm neutral — perfect for any fall floral! This ‘mocha’ tulle gown by Amsale effortlessly sweeps to the floor in a simple and sophisticated way.

THE tuxes

The groom wore a three-piece tan tux with ivory accents. The best man tied in the mocha color for his vest and tie to match the maid of honor’s dress.

THE cake

A tiered, naked cake set the scene with a mixture of peanut butter, apple and dulce de leche flavors, detailed with festive caramel apples.

THE hair & makeup

Simple, fresh and romantic makeup accentuated the girls’ natural beauty, while both had elegant, upswept hair.
