Noah and Rachel were introduced to each other through their friends. Even though they grew up living close to each other, their paths never crossed until after they graduated from college. Soon, they knew they were ready to take the next steps in their lives. During a trip to Europe, Noah popped the question in Victoria Tower Gardens in London. We love a good destination engagement!
Rachel talked with Noah about the various styles of rings she might like, and he went shopping with his mother to pick one out. He bought one in April but kept it a secret until his proposal in October. “I love the bow detailing between the diamond and the band,” Rachel gushes.
The couple took a recommendation from their coordinator to check out Alison of Alison Mae Photography. “After reviewing her portfolio, we were blown away by her stunning photos,” Rachel explains. “Following a meeting with Alison and her husband, Zach, Noah and I knew they were a perfect fit for us. Not only were we impressed with their work, but we were also impressed by who they are as individuals. We were very comfortable with them from the beginning.”
Rachel and Noah got their first pick of ceremony and reception venues, so planning has been going well! She says, “We wanted a traditional ceremony in a church and then the reception to have a unique, rustic and laid-back feel.” We can't wait to see how the styles collide in their ceremony!
