Kate and Nick knew it was meant to be after the moment they met on their college’s campus. Ever since they hit it off, the pair have been inseparable. When it came time to pop the question, Nick dressed their beloved Goldendoodle pup, Ernie, in a suit with a proposal sign. Kate said an instant 'yes'!

Nick picked out Kate’s lovely ring all by himself, only showing Kate’s mother once for approval. We love the stylish oval diamond and the way it’s perfectly captured by Alison Mae Photography!

Kate has been taking wedding inspiration from Pinterest but admits that her style choices have changed over the course of her year and a half engagement. “A longer engagement is nice when booking vendors because I felt like no one had been booked when I started looking,” she says. “I know other brides with shorter engagements sometimes run across vendors already being booked and not getting their top picks!”

Kate and Nick won their session with Alison through a WeddingDay Giveaway, and they couldn’t be happier with the results! “Alison and her husband were absolutely amazing!” she gushes. “They allowed us to bring Ernie with us to the shoot. We were able to take some amazing photos of just Nick and I, but were also able to get some fun photos with Ernie that we’ll cherish forever!”
