A Dreamy, Snowy St. Louis Styled Engagement Shoot

Don’t let the cold scare you away from a gorgeous styled engagement shoot! Kristen, the owner of KB Photos & Design, wanted to showcase to couples that there’s nothing more beautiful than a Midwest winter. “I hope this photoshoot inspires engaged couples to brave the elements of nature (hot, cold or wet) to seek out adventurous destinations with jaw-dropping backdrops, and enjoy some time together in the great outdoors,” Kristen says.

Being an avid hiker, Kristen knew the wonders of her local Missouri parks. “I got inspired while on a family hike at Lake of the Ozarks State Park when we came upon a beautiful grove of evergreen trees,” Kristen says.  “As soon as I saw it, I knew it would make the most dreamy backdrop for snowy winter photos!”

With a sharp suit and two luxurious gowns, these models show off a romantic elegance that gives us perfect Valentine’s Day vibes! When choosing the colors for her shoot, Kristen explains, “Knowing our location, we wanted bold, rich colors that would pop against the bright white snow. Wine red, hunter green and black were our colors of choice. Especially in such a breathtaking location, it’s integral to choose bold colors that help the couple stand out against the backdrop.”
