This Modern and Minimal Shoot Brings Classic Glam to the Geneva Lake, Wisconsin Area

Who said minimal couldn't be luxurious? Pure glamour abounds in this minimalist style shoot. This shoot's idea came to Jen of BlueVerve Studio on a sparkling New Year's Eve. She wanted to emulate the glitz and glam of the new season through a classical yet modern wedding setting. The end result is a luxurious take on a timeless wedding with a twist of industrial chic style! This minimalist shoot proves that when it comes to upscale style, less is always more.

The team wanted to embrace a classic ballgown silhouette for each bride to touch on an upscale fashion sense. These two gowns perfectly balanced the themes of refined elegance and playfulness. Keeping true to the minimal style, the brides’ makeup was subtle yet sparkly, allowing for each of their natural beauty to shine through. 

This venue attracted Jen and the team to it because of the luxurious atmosphere. “There is gorgeous light, distinct character and multiple points of visual interest,” she says. The open-concept space acts as a perfect blank slate for any couple's wedding vision to come to life.

Because this shoot was initially inspired around the New Year’s Eve holiday, the team aimed to keep the rose and gold color scheme intact. Metallic industrial style collides with the soft yet luscious blooms of roses and greenery spread across the shoot. 

Keeping up with the color palette, this rose-gold cake is simply darling! We love how the added flecks of gold elevate this confection into a true piece of art.
