Elegant and Natural Nuptials in a Detroit Greenhouse: The Real Wedding of Kiera and Dustin Foran

In this modern day of dating, Kiera and Dustin matched on Bumble and began seeing each other. After dating for a time, on a mountain top in Malibu, Dustin got down on one knee and asked Kiera to marry him while they looked out at the ocean. Of course she said yes!
 

When Kiera went to a sizing appointment, she didn't think she'd walk out having bought her wedding dress. "I scheduled just for an appointment to get sized, and had no intention of buying my dress there," Kiera admits. "Once I tried on this dress I knew it was the one." Look at how stunning she is in it!
 

Going into wedding planning, Kiera and Dustin were starting from scratch. "I had no idea what we wanted. Once we found the venue, we spent hours reviewing all the weddings they have had photographed in the past and put a vision together of what we loved and what we hated," Kiera shares. They ended up planning around the greenhouse theme with a lot of white, plum and gold accents to their elegant and romantic event. 
 

During their celebration, Kiera and Dustin made sure to include plenty of special details to make their wedding unique to them. Instead of a traditional first look, they did a first touch instead. They also had a private cake cutting, and Dustin and his mom had a choreographed mother-son dance with hockey sticks since he played hockey. Dustin's uncle also served as their officiant, and their unity part of the ceremony included watering an olive tree together.

Advice from the Couple

Kiera and Dustin advise, "As much as your wedding is for your guests, make sure to include special moments into your day that are meaningful to you. Have private moments with your husband throughout the wedding to breathe and take a mental picture and soak it all in. And lastly, hire a photographer that captured the style you are looking for. With the right photographer, they are able to capture the magic and love in your wedding photos to have forever."
