Monday, May 22, 2017Krissy, an Indiana native and owner of Simply Be So Events, started planning and designing events over 10 years ago while working alongside her family's catering and restaurant business. She gained a love for hospitality, connecting people, and creating event experiences through her grandmother and mother's examples even as a young girl. After planning events and weddings throughout college and in the corporate and nonprofit realm, Krissy began her own full-time wedding planning and design company in 2015 and works with her talented team of two coordinators and a stylist, all of whom she loves dearly and couldn't do without! Simply Be So Events provides a customized experience for their clients, ranging in packages including full service wedding planning and design to month of coordination and customized consultations. Simply Be So specializes in timeless, natural and joyful celebrations. Krissy and her husband, Chad, a financial planner for Everence Financial, have lived in South Bend, Indiana for 5 years together and love working as a team for many events and connecting with the couples that come their way. Krissy and Chad have a love for meeting people of all walks of life, helping their clients live well, spending time outdoors, traveling to new places and visiting family and friends all over the world! When Krissy is not planning weddings, you can find her trying her hand at gardening, biking, crafting, and chatting over coffee with friends.
