2015 Wedding Trends
Kathy Jonas | July 13, 2015I was so excited about 2015, I decided to start looking online for wedding trends before the end of the year. But I didn’t find any. It took until the end of January before these inevitable lists started surfacing. Maybe it takes the experts a little while to decide what’s new and fresh!
Blushing Bride: A Dramatic Photo Shoot in Lafayette
Sarah Parent | June 11, 2015Planners, inspired by the beauty of the Historic Lahr Atrium, chose the color palette of blush, marsala and gold to accentuate the vintage appeal of the location. Posh in Polka Dots: A Style Shoot with Charm and Pizzazz
Michelle Samardzija | June 11, 2015For our one-of-a-kind inspiration shoot, we wanted to take the current trends of 2015 and turn them up a notch. With blush being the color of the year for many brides, we focused on a beautiful ombre to blush palette with pops of gold and the surprise of polka dots. The Allure, located in a historic building in LaPorte, is the ideal spot for this stylish shoot. Following the photography, couples poured into the facility for a new kind of bridal show, Inspire Us.

The Wedding Story of... Brooke & DJ Fitzpatrick
WeddingDay | March 3, 2015Being in the right place doesn’t mean much if the timing isn’t right. After all, DJ and Brooke Fitzpatrick both earned degrees from the University of Notre Dame (where DJ was a kicker on the Fighting Irish football team and Brooke was a member of the track and cross country team) within two years of each other but their paths never crossed.
The Wedding Story of...Katie & Joe Thatcher
Kathy Jonas | March 3, 2015Katie McCool and Joe Thatcher grew up in the same town, but it took Katie’s friend, Anne, who happens to be Joe’s sister, to get the ball rolling on their relationship. In July of 2008, a text from Joe started it all, even though Katie admits she is the more outgoing of the two. Katie says, “He’s more quiet, but can make me laugh harder than anyone. We really are a good balance for each other.”
The Wedding Story of... Carrie & Joe Ryan
WeddingDay | March 3, 2015In high school both Carrie Balzer and Joe Ryan spent as much time with friends as possible, and as fate would have it, their social circles overlapped. It happened that an upcoming homecoming dance gave Joe the opportunity to ask Carrie to escort him, and the two got to know each other on a more personal level.
