A Tea Party Style Shoot Fit For a Princess Bride
Carri Fras | January 3, 2017In a time when brides are taking to varying new trends and adding their own unique twists to weddings, Rachel Whitehurst of Adventure Photo Stories and her team had their sights set on creating something that wasn’t just unique but also timeless. That’s how she landed on the idea of a Fairytale Tea Party. “Ultimately, I wanted this shoot to be about the vendors,” Rachel says. “I wanted to give them a sort of prompt for them to be inspired by and let loose their creativity. I began with the idea of a whimsical, but timeless tea party and knew that the other creatives involved would run with the idea. I pictured love. Simple love…the love between the real couple (Shonah and Ike) modeling for us, and the love of each artistic vendor for their craft.”

A Dreamy Indie Style Shoot
Carri Fras | December 29, 2016When Katie Skinner of Kiss Me Kate Photography set out to prove to herself that she could bring to life and capture an idea she held so dearly and that only existed in her mind’s eye, she certainly did just that. "In my heart I wanted to prove to myself that I could do exactly what I was visualizing, that I was good enough to pull right from my imagination and capture it in real life," she says. "I put myself to the test and, to say the least, I think I passed." Her ultimate vision for this shoot was to create a dreamy, boho bride that would leave people swooning. (Well, we say, check, check and check!)
The Real Wedding of Caitlin and Eric Horsford
Carri Fras | December 28, 2016Caitlin met Eric six years ago working for a local grocery store. Eric was her manager in the bakery and, although they had feelings for each other, it took three long years before this came to light. Lucky for Eric, he decided to get in touch with Caitlin. “We both had a huge crush on each other but were too professional to let one another know," Caitlyn says. “He transferred stores and I moved to Florida. Out of the blue one day three years later, he messaged me on Facebook after seeing I was coming home to Indiana to spend the holidays with my family. He asked if we could hang out and that was it!”
