It only took a few snaps of the camera to change the lives of Peter Lamberta and Chelsea Udell. Doing an article for an online tourist website, Peter asked to take a photo of Chelsea at the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival in June of 2010. The pair hit it off immediately, and a quick photo-op became an invitation to dinner and the start of a new relationship.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said that the “Earth laughs in flowers.” If that’s true, Meeghan Miller Hart and Brendan Hart started their relationship and marriage surrounded by lots of laughter. Meeghan and Brendan got engaged at the Central Park Conservatory Garden in New York City (where they live) and had their wedding reception at the Historic Oliver Gardens at The History Museum (formerly the Center for History) in South Bend.

Kaitlin Riley and Joe Duran were both participating in the program Teach for America, which places recent college grads in under-resourced high schools for two years. Before the two could begin teaching in New York City in 2009, they had to pass teacher certification exams and took the exam in the library of a Chicago high school.
