The Wedding Story of Marina & David Piechocki

Jenna Nelson |  October 5, 2016

Marina Grishin first took notice of David Piechocki at work when he gave an Elvis performance during a work function. His performance opened the door to a friendship and later, led to a first date. David, meanwhile, had his eye on Marina from the first day she started work. From joining the bowling team to attending a Pilates class, David did everything he could to get a moment with her. Marina says she knew David was the one for her when he agreed to join her on her 14-day trip to Europe—she asked him during their very first lunch together. “I wanted to see how spontaneous he was!” says Marina. “He did not disappoint and booked his trip immediately. We have been inseparable ever since.”

Why Barn Weddings Are Here to Stay

A setting sun peeking through wooden beams. Cathedral and vaulted ceilings dressed with romantic stringed lights and chandeliers. Bars made from whiskey barrels and pallets. Historic origins with modern amenities. Acres and acres of serene countryside. They called it a trend—a movement that would soon be on its way out by the time the following year’s wedding trends were introduced.
