Your bachelorette party is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration filled with laughter, love and unforgettable moments shared with your closest friends. While the traditional elements like dancing and toasting are sure to make lasting memories, adding a professional photographer to the mix elevates the experience to a whole new level! This day is all about you, so why not hire a photographer to capture portraits from this momentous celebration? For bride-to-be Larissa, it wasn't just about snapping pictures; it was about embracing the fun aspects of this special occasion and creating lasting keepsakes that she could cherish forever. Read on to here why Larissa recommends incorporating this unique addition into your bachelorette party agenda, and to see why this is easily our newest favorite trend in pre-wedding festivities!

WD: What made you decide to get portraits taken at your bachelorette party?

Larissa: "I have always been really bad about taking the time to take photos or ask people to take photos and my bachelorette was a trip I wanted to document. So, I thought why not hire a professional! I am so glad I did because now I get to look back at all the pictures and remember jamming out with my best friends all weekend long."

WD: How did your photographer capture the essence of your celebration? How did these photos capture your personality? How did they make you feel?

Larissa: "Nichole's shoot was truly one of the highlights of my bachelorette. She took the time to understand my personality and vibe and wanted to capture all of that in her photos. She was perfect for the job because she brought so much empowering energy and got me super comfortable in front of the camera. I am so happy I had her there and I can't recommend her enough. She made me feel so special and was able to make me laugh and smile making the shoot and photos that much better."

WD: Did your photographer accommodate any special requests or preferences you had?

Larissa: "Nichole was super accommodating when it came to my preferences. I wanted a big variety of shots like fun, flirty and artistic and she was able to do it all! She also constantly wanted to make sure I was comfortable and having a great time. I had a vision in mind and she was able to bring it to life. She was so good at giving me direction as well which helped make me more relaxed in posing."

WD: What was your favorite thing about having these portraits taken?

Larissa: "My favorite part about having these photos done was how much fun Nichole, myself and all my other best friends were having during it. We had a great playlist going and everyone there was my biggest hype team. Not only did I feel so confident and so lucky to have all these strong wonderful women around me but I think it was a great opportunity for all of them to bond and let loose a little, too!"

WD: What advice would you give other brides looking to do something similar at their bachelorette parties?

Larissa: "I would highly recommend doing a photo shoot at your bachelorette! It was so fun having us all together having mimosas and listening to our favorite music all while getting photos that will last a lifetime. This was one of the highlights of the whole weekend for me and it was a great way for me to feel out my style and get more comfortable in front of the camera for the wedding day! If you are a bride thinking of hiring someone to shoot your bachelorette, you should do it 100%. This would also be a great gift for the bride from bridesmaids, friends or family! I would also highly recommend hiring Nichole from Nichole Babiez Photography."

WD: Do you have any additional comments you’d like to share?

Larissa: "Overall this shoot was so fun and I am so glad we did it. I have not only gained more self-confidence but I was able to do it with all my best friends. I hope that more brides can experience something like this in their lives. Wedding planning is stressful enough and this was a perfect way to feel so excited and relieve a lot of the planning stress."
