Recreating the small, intimate wedding you’d find tucked away on the French countryside was the vision behind this elegant Indianapolis shoot. Alexa of Alexa Jo Wedding Coordination gathered a team of local vendors and influencers, and together they combined their creative minds to produce a gorgeously classic style shoot. We love this lightly organic and elegant shoot, and we’re sure you’ll love it too!

The sheer element of this classic gown makes this dress one of a kind! We love how the soft floral pattern of the dress pairs with the natural theme. Add that in with the gentle curl of the bride’s hair and you have showstopping romantic vibes!

When it comes to wedding colors, Alexa admits she believes blush will always be in style. We love the soft pink roses mixed with the natural foliage to give a fully organic look. “We wanted a light and airy feel inspired by timeless film photography, so we incorporated a soft color palette throughout along with various textures,” notes Alexa.

Natural light was an absolute must for this shoot, so the team knew they had to choose a venue that had plenty of it. The Ritz Charles’s floor-to-ceiling windows played perfectly into the team’s visions for what this shoot would look like. Keo of Keo Wallace Photography gushes, “It was a rainy and gloomy day, but because of the airy, light-filled Garden Pavilion it wasn’t an issue at all!”

Alexa explains that the team wanted to incorporate the trend of macramé into the shoot, but wanted to do it in a timeless way. The team included a macramé backdrop that was imported from Paris, France! Talk about authenticity. “The macramé table runner added just the right touch of earthiness that we needed for our setup,” Alexa adds.
