Bright & Bold: A 1980s Punk-Themed Style Shoot in Chicago

Punk rock and modern style combine in this 1980s-inspired style shoot. "We wanted to create something at the intersection of romantic and edgy. Something both hard and soft at the same time,” Emily from EcoWilde explains. With that idea in mind, the creative team gravitated toward a modern 80s punk theme. The venue they secured couldn’t have been a more perfect blank canvas for their bold and colorful scene. From the leather jackets to the asymmetrical cake, all the way to the bride’s big, curly hair—every detail of the shoot came together perfectly to show off their vision!

 

What We Love

The colorful invitation suite screams the 80s! Emily raves, “The stationer was one of the KEY designers in this whole shoot! She was part of the overall creative visionary team. She was going for a fine art version of a messy, rock and roll style. Really bold and wild.”
