This California Golden-Hour Style Shoot is What Dreams are Made Of

Arielle of Arielle Peters Photography has always wanted to have the opportunity to style a shoot at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez, California. "The rolling golden hills they have on the property along with the beautiful trees makes the property it sits on a photographer’s dream," Arielle shares. "The gardens they have are unworldly and I was so excited to get in there and capture our bride and groom!"

Every bride wants beautiful, natural photos from her wedding day. Arielle knew there was no better place to get such stunning photos than Kestrel Park. "The venue was the whole reason we went out that direction and we’re so glad we did. It was perfect!" Arielle raves. The beautiful natural landscape is unmatched. We love the way the greenery is such a stark contrast to the surrounding drier environment.

The theme was a beautiful summer celebration with a magnificent backdrop. Arielle explains, "We wanted to do something very light and summery but definitely with color." The true look they were trying to capture was the coveted golden-hour look that every couple wants to achieve on their special day. We think the group pulled together a gorgeous shoot. And those stunning flowers bring a lovely pop of color!

Last, but certainly not least, take a look at that show-stopping bride! The dress the creative team chose brought in an element of whimsy to this shoot. We are obsessed with the large bow on the back of the gown. The bride herself brings plenty of beauty to the shoot, too. "Maggie was gorgeous and can pull off anything," Arielle gushes. "We wanted to keep her makeup pretty natural while giving her hair just a loose updo."
