Classic Romance: A Black and White Style Shoot in Valparaiso

Photos ByMegan Jerndt Photography & Laura Spencer Photography

First set of photos // Megan Jerndt Photography

This style shoot was inspired by a vision of timeless elegance with a vintage twist. A classic black and white palette set the tone, while checkerboard details on the flat lay display and signage added a playful, graphic element that paired beautifully with the disco balls sprinkled throughout the design. The geometric motifs complemented one another effortlessly, creating a look that felt both sophisticated and fun!

The couple's fashion echoed the editorial aesthetic perfectly! The groom's classic black menswear paired seamlessly with the bride's fitted satin gown and cathedral-length veil, creating a refined look that was elevated without distracting from the overall design. A pair of stylish sunglasses added just the right amount of personality and modern flair! To keep the focus on the venue and thoughtful details, the décor remained intentionally minimal, allowing standout elements like the timeless champagne tower and heart-shaped cake to make a memorable statement.

What We Love

The black and white images from Laura Spencer Photography enhance the shoot's vintage charm, while her color photos highlight its refined details and warm golden hour glow—from the sunset streaming through the venue's windows to the classic Chevy coupe featured outdoors!
