"When we visited The Hall at Oakland Park for the first time, we fell in love with the character of the stone fireplace, wooden ceilings and chandeliers inside the hall. The hall ,along with the beautiful 40 acres of land where we could have the ceremony, made our decision easy. The venue gave us a great location to bring in decorations and vendors to make our wedding exactly the way we wanted, and the hall was laid out well for our buffet-style dinner with a separate room for food and drinks. The willow trees and pond made a perfect backdrop for our ceremony and there were so many amazing places for pictures! As we look back after the wedding we couldn’t have asked for a better location and venue for our wedding. It really made it possible to create a day that people walked away from remembering the special touches that spoke of who we are as a couple."

Please tell us a little more about your business.

"Located in the heart of Amish Country, Nappanee, Indiana is all about 'Embracing the Pace.' Every couple deserves to have an event that they can embrace as their 'pace.' The venue was originally designed for a recreation park for employees. Now it is an amenity-filled location for groups large and small."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"Everything great has multiple building blocks that when put together create the perfect product. The venue is like the foundation when putting together your dream wedding. When you chose our venue you ensure that you have a solid foundation on which to add all the other pieces and create something unique and magical!

The Park has over 40 acres of perfect outdoor event settings. Woods, lake-like settings, water features and open grassy areas. Everything a couple could want in an outdoor venue; completely private, secluded and natural settings. The Hall is a blend of modern and rustic with an open floor plan that includes balconies and chandeliers. Large outdoor patio for indoor/outdoor combination events. Included on-site is a separate, private Wedding Party Suite to get ready and relax."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"Love inspires us. It’s the basis for what we do, without it; none of this would be possible."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"Meeting all the different couples and hearing their stories. Knowing we are the space where they create their dream day, the day that starts the rest of their lives together, the day that creates all these priceless memories that will be passed on for generations."
