Even though Madison and Trenton met in middle school, they didn't rekindle their friendship and start dating until college. They actually reconnected on a dating app! When it was time to propose, Trenton secretly gathered some of their closest friends to take pictures and asked Madison to a beach picnic. After Madison said yes, they all celebrated. Their friends actually bought them a celebratory piece of cake that ended up becoming their wedding cake!

Despite Madison thinking she knew what she wanted in a wedding dress, she ended up surprising herself! "I thought I would have a ballgown, and walked away with a fit and flare. It was perfect! I shopped at two places in one day and found it the first day," Madison raves. "Ultimately, when you know, you know!" We think she looks absolutely stunning in the gown she chose! The lace detailing is absolutely gorgeous, especially the delicate lace on the end of her train.

When it came to planning, Madison thought she just wanted a courthouse wedding. In fact, she had convinced herself of that for years. But, after consulting with both sides of the family and thinking about the hardships they'd conquered over the last few years, Madison and Trenton decided they wanted to celebrate. Madison also wanted to have professional photos with all her loved ones. But, Madison and Trenton also didn't want to wait for all that. They streamlined their planning and with plenty of help from friends and family, they moved from engaged to married in just four months!

Regarding their theme, Madison thought about adding lots of color but was worried that getting married in the fall wouldn't complement that palette. Then, she and Trenton decided it was their wedding, and they could do what they wanted! They settled on basing colors off their florals, including lots of color and even floral-printed dishes. They selected green and pink as their wedding colors not realizing they were Madison's parents' wedding colors! Another touch that honored their families were cakes modeled after their loved ones' wedding cakes.

What We Love
Finding the perfect venue was a bit of a challenge, but the legwork paid off. "I looked at plenty of venues. We were truly looking for a place that had both a ceremony and reception venue. Plus, the feel of The Grand LV was perfect. I wanted my vibe to be 'vintage chic' and that’s exactly what our venue provided," Madison gushes. "I also loved the autonomy provided. We were able to design the space however we wanted. We had the ability to hire whatever vendors we wanted. We had the chance to hold our rehearsal there with no additional cost. It was just an overall great experience." We love the way their wedding theme came to life in this beautiful Niles venue!

Advice from the Couple
Madison and Trenton advise, "You’ll hear this over and over again, but don’t listen to anyone else. Do what you and your future spouse want. I (Madison) had a breakdown at the beginning of planning and realized it truly was not that big of a deal. We would get married either way, so I got myself together and told myself that nothing and no one would cause me to have a breakdown like that. It’s really hard advice to take, because EVERYONE has opinions. Secondly, streamline your night before and day of by writing everything you want down. If you don’t do this, everyone will ask you questions and you will go crazy."
