Please tell us a little more about your business.

"My name is Rich Aguilar and I’m the owner of Aguilar Photography! We create 'Bold and Timeless imagery for couples in love.' We’re located out of Northern Indiana and service the great NWI area. Yes, that includes Michigan and Wisconsin! We specialize in the dramatic and emotional."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"I absolutely love what I do! And my passion is what pours into your wedding day experience. From the first call, signing of the contract, to your deliverables, you’ll realize that this--you--are our passion. It starts with our personal approach: getting to know you, your needs and wants. Helping you find solutions to any problem you may face as you organize your dream wedding. We have resources to share and references to give. All of it to help ensure that you have the wedding you want. And if any of that wasn’t enough, you’ll fall in love with our creative, bold and timeless imagery! Every package has two photographers and a lighting assistant. Why? Because we want every couple to get the luxury experience."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"We’ve been published in WeddingDay Magazine’s June edition! Featuring many amazing artists, many of whom I work with on a consistent basis on a wedding day. Also, I’m a world traveler! I just recently came back from Africa, check out this quick video."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"Love is what inspires me. I’m a hopeless romantic, and even as a man I desire to find love wherever it is. Love truly is the most important thing to capture whether it’s through photo or film. We do both! That first look, or the first kiss as husband and wife. The way Dad cries after seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time. All of it inspires me that there is a world out there full of this one thing, love..."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"I get to share the most important day for any couple. I get to feel like I have a backstage pass to the best concert in town! It’s a rewarding feeling to be able to share such a special day with two amazing people. Watching them cry, hug, kiss, embrace, remember and enjoy all throughout their wedding day. To be honest, there isn’t a better feeling in the world than to watch to people who are already madly in love, fall deeper in love on their wedding day. It’s humbling… and exciting all at the same time."
