Madilyn first crossed paths with Luke at the gym where they both worked. When the two hit it off, they knew their connection was something special. During a family trip to beautiful Naples, Florida, Luke dropped to one knee in the sand and popped the question. Best vacation ever!
Two days after Luke proposed, Madilyn decided to go look at dresses while they were still in Florida. She had no idea she’d find 'the one' all the way down south. The Calla Blanche gown's bell sleeves sold her, and it was an immediate match!
From a retro-inspired seating chart to the macrame table runners and dream catchers, Element Event Design coordinated and designed an absolutely stunning day. Every detail oozes style that takes us back to the '70s!
What we love
Madilyn wanted her wedding to be authentic to her, so the couple’s theme was based on the Beatles’ “All You Need is Love.” We love this retro vibe! Madilyn notes, “I didn't want a glitzy glam wedding. I thrive on my own uniqueness!”
Advice from the couple
Madilyn wants future brides-to-be to enjoy the time they’re engaged, and not get too focused on wedding planning. “When your big day comes, it's crazy and so much is going on so fast. Take a step back, breathe and take it all in!”
