W hat if The Great Gatsby were directed by Nancy Meyers? That was the question that inspired the vision behind this shoot. The team set out to blend the elegance and glamour of the Roaring Twenties with the soft romance of the Regency era. Rather than opting for a moody, dark palette, the team embraced every shade of pink throughout the design. From the florals to the linens to the stationery, this shoot is positively pink! As planner Rebecca Targett explains, “We really wanted to embrace the feminine and create something lush, saturated and layered. Editorial shoots give us the opportunity to take design to the extreme—to show what’s possible when you mix attainable with aspirational.” With a monochromatic palette, texture played a key role in adding depth, and the pairing of wicker with gold accents beautifully balanced opulence with softness.

What We Love
Two gorgeous dresses were used in this shoot. The first one is a tulle gown that brings all of the princess vibes into this celebration. We love the romance and delicate elegance of this dress. The second gown is a sleeker design with a creative twist. We love the way it looks like falling petals landed on this dress and got stuck in place! It’s a stunning display of elegance and whimsy. To easily transfer between the different looks, they kept the bride’s hair and makeup simple, classic and light. It is a perfect look to go with this stunning shoot!
