This Lush Boat Engagement is Straight Out of a Dream: The Engagement of Hannah and Jared

Hannah and Jared grew up together but didn’t connect on a deeper level until they were much older. When he worked up the courage, Jared took the plunge and asked Hannah out on a date. Everything after that is history! On Valentine’s Day, Jared knew he wanted to take the next step in their relationship. While taking a walk, he gave her a Valentine’s Day card and then dropped to one knee!

Even though Jared proposed with a ring pop, he thought long and hard about Hannah’s ring. Completely unique to her, he wanted it to contain a Petoskey stone. “She loves this ring because Lake Michigan contains many fond memories from the past, and hopefully many more to come,” Jared notes.

With no previous wedding ideas, the pair has taken their time deciding what they want in their ceremony. Jared adds, “Our wedding will be simple, and that’s exactly how we like it.”
