Please tell us a little more about your business.

"I am a wedding and event floral designer. I started in the floral industry over two years ago, working in a traditional brick and mortar shop, and quickly fell in love with doing weddings and events. After a year of doing daily orders, I slowly started to focus all of my energy on doing solely what I loved, weddings and events."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"With a background in Interior Design, I tend to approach every wedding or event I work on with the whole room or space in mind. My clients will not get just a centerpiece from me. I do everything that I can to pull the whole room together. I look at every detail, from the ceiling and how I can draw the eye up toward the ceiling, to small satellite pieces that I can add to a table to complete the entire look. A table with a centerpiece is pretty, but a table with a centerpiece, candles and smaller satellite pieces is stunning."

Do you have anything else exciting that you would like to share?

"I am really excited to be working with my home church on a project this fall. I will be sharing a few details leading up to it on my Instastories— y'all will just have to stay tuned to see all the pretty details."
 

What inspires you as a florist?

"Everything inspires me as a floral designer–from the colors of a dress to the way the roots of a tree grow. Mostly, other designers inspire me. We all have so much to offer one another, and each designer has a style that is unique to them. I am always trying to learn from my peers, especially those that have a completely different style than what comes naturally to me."

What do you love most about designing florals for weddings? 

"Most brides have a dream. Some can articulate that dream really well and some can't. For those that cannot, that's ok. All I need is an idea. Once I know what inspires my client I work tirelessly. I am sketching and putting design guides together to ensure that I am going to create an event unique to their vision."
