This Michigan Wedding is Full of Spring Colors: The Real Wedding of Stella and Joe Kontak

Love struck in the workplace for Stella and Joe. The couple got to know each other when they both were working at General Mills, but when they both joined the company volleyball team, sparks flew. Stella realized she’d found 'the one'! Joe popped the question when the couple was abroad on a trip to Iceland. “He proposed as we were just feet away from a beautiful waterfall and I was in complete shock!” she recalls. “He did such a great job surprising me and I had no idea he was going to propose on that trip. Needless to say, that was our favorite trip of our entire lives!”

Stella’s hunt for her gown only lasted for two stores. She knew she wanted to find a dress that was tight-fitting, the opposite of a princess style. As soon as she tried it on, she knew she’d found a match!

Stella and Joe's big day went perfectly according to plan, thanks to the coordination provided by Everlasting Engagements. The couple's wide smiles are proof that the celebration was a success!

This couple’s joy came from spending time with their loved ones. “We just loved being able to hang out with our loved ones throughout the day,” Stella says.

Stella advises couples to hire a day-of-coordinator. She adds, “It was so nice not having to worry about the details day-of and just enjoy the best day of your life!”
