For this style shoot, bohemian charm and rustic simplicity meet to create a dreamy atmosphere. The style shoot team notes, “The style concept was simplicity. Less is more especially when you have a rustic, organic working ranch, with pristine nature and endless beauty!” Located at The Hitching Post Ranch in Lancaster, Ohio, the shoot developed a new sense of Midwestern romance.

The team decided on a delicate blue palette that would allow for feminine and masculine features to come through. They note, “We wanted a beautiful palette mixed with moody blues to complment the deep history of the ranch. It was to be a dance with the wild—where dreams and magic still happen!” Details like the lace gown and overflowing florals delivered a sense of free-spirited style and trendy design all at once.

The venue was the perfect space for this concept. Beth Francis of Moonstruck Event Management, the planner and designer of the shoot, says, “The venue is pristine, organic and breathtaking. I am the eternal romantic that still believes in love stories and fairytales and a lot of hard work. I was thrilled about how it all came together!” The venue’s open patio featuring a stone fireplace is just as romantic as their dreamy, open fields. It is truly a romantic landscape.

The decor for the shoot also offered organic, yet glamorous style. Beth notes, “We used a wooden arch to bring in the organic feel, with endless touches of gold goblets, vintage plates and greenery!” They also used an elegant loveseat perfect for newlyweds. The style choices for this shoot combine Midwest nature with chic style for an unforgettable look.
