Carrie met Eric when she and her friend attended a concert for Eric’s band. He caught her eye in the crowd, and sparks flew! After dating, Eric proposed by a campfire in the woods surrounding the couple’s home.

We love the elegant, high neckline of Carrie’s dress! Paired with the intricate lacework, this dress is a dream come true. She says, “I knew I wanted something different but ended up with something I never thought I would get. I absolutely loved it!”

The couple wanted to have a natural theme to reflect their love of the outdoors. They used Pinterest for inspiration, and called together local vendors to help put together their big day!

What we love

This pair crafted all the decor themselves, giving their wedding a special, handmade touch. “I wanted lots of candles, moss, willow and wood and it all turned out perfect,” Carrie notes. With his background in music, Eric composed the song for their first dance and surprised Carrie with it!

Carrie says, “The wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye, so try to enjoy every moment and not worry about the little things. It will be the best day of your life.”
