This Outdoor Engagement is Full of Warm Autumn Colors: The Engagement of Kat and Josh

Love struck Kat the first time she saw Josh! After a friendship turned into something more, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. On a Sunday evening, Josh dropped to one knee in a garden and asked Kat to marry him. 

Kat’s ring has a classically elegant diamond wrapped in lovely rose gold. “I had some definite preferences and gave Josh more than a few pointers, but I wanted him to pick out a ring he loved, too,” she says. “It’s absolutely gorgeous!”

The couple chose Courtney Carney Photography because of her light and airy style. “I love how Courtney captures light and color and beauty,” Kat explains. “I knew I wanted images that would capture the beauty and joy of our day.”

Kat has a vision for what she wanted her big day to look like—and she is planning it in four months! She says, “The stress comes and goes, depending on the day, but now, I’m just ready to get married!” We can’t wait to see their big day!
