The reign of the 2016 Pantone colors of the year continues. Serenity and Rose Quartz shined in this style shoot at the historic Laurel Hall in Indianapolis. Danielle Harris, owner of Danielle Harris Photography envisioned a classic and elegant scene, but also wanted to include relevancy and timeliness with the trend of the Pantone colors.

There was no better fit for Danielle's classic vision other than Laurel Hall. Laurel Hall was originally a family estate built in 1916 and served several other purposes before it was an event venue. Inside, the historic manor features exotic hardwood floors, antique wood paneling, vaulted ceilings, limestone fireplaces, a grand staircase and large windows. Outdoors, the six acres of surrounding lawns and gardens offer breathtaking backdrops for photos.
"Laurel Hall was the perfect backdrop for this elegant and romantic styled shoot," says Danielle. "With perfectly manicured grounds and 20th century old world charm, it's no wonder Indianapolis brides fall in love with this historic mansion again and again!"
With Laurel Hall setting the scene, the vendor team went for a bright and airy feel executed using the Pantone colors of Serenity Blue and Rose Quartz. The solarium within the mansion gave an open feel to the reception with marble floors, large two-story windows and an intimate stone fireplace.
McNamara Florist contributed to Danielle's vision by designing centerpieces and bouquets that followed the color scheme and offered a soft approach using pink O'Hara garden roses, creamy ivory garden roses, white Mikado spray roses, blue hydrangeas, thistle, seeded eucalyptus and Queen Anne's Lace. Rentals from Violet Vintage also added to the romantic tablescapes with antique candelabras and silver chargers.
The stunning bride wore a beaded Stephen Yearick gown from Nancy's Bridal Boutique in Indianapolis. Ivory beading and a plunging neckline accented the feminine feel of the shoot. Her hair was pinned up and over to the side to match the glamorous look of her gown.
The stationery pieces were designed by Blu3 Designs. The invitation and reply card were printed on a cotton blend paper and hand torn to create deckled edges. Acrylic paint created a 3D texture and the names on the invitation were hand lettered in calligraphy.
