Rachel and Craig met in high school and were actually each other's prom dates! Rachel adds, “Six years later, we reconnected on Fourth of July and the rest is history.” After reconnecting the pair knew that they were meant to be!
Rachel knew that her wedding colors had to include pink. She says, “I knew I wanted pink and a lot of it! I have been obsessed with the color most of my life (I even own a pink car). Craig’s favorite color is green so we incorporated our favorite colors pink and green throughout our wedding.” The couple chose Dave Thompson Photography to capture their special day. Dave brilliantly captured all the small, yet meaningful details of their wedding!
The couple decided on the Holiday Inn - Mishawaka for their venue. It was the perfect space that offered an elegant backdrop for their day. Rachel adds, “The ballroom was perfect for what we were looking for. I really liked how a wall divided the ballroom in half so we were still able to surprise the guests with the reception reveal.”
What we love
We love that Rachel and Craig had so many fun decor pieces for their wedding. Rachel adds, “We used Etsy to find a lot of our special or unique touches for our wedding. We ordered a special wedding guest book that was 3D with a wedding tree for guests to sign. We ordered a personalized card box. We also had personalized bubbles to give away.” It was such a special touch to have elements that were unique to their wedding.
Advice from the bride
Rachel says, “The advice I would give is to book your vendors early and do research. The wedding day goes so fast so to remember to enjoy it and all the hard work you put into the wedding.”
