Stephanie and Elias met at a mutual friend’s party. Stephanie says, “The intention was for me to meet someone else but as fate had it, I instead met my fiancé. We hit it off right away and I left the party with his number.”
Stephanie ended up calling Elias and the two quickly knew that they were meant to be. Elias decided to propose by taking Stephanie downtown with a group of their friends. Stephanie adds, “It was around Christmas time so we were going to look at the huge Christmas tree down there and have dinner. We walked around and eventually made our way to the large Christmas tree. We took pictures of our friends in front of the tree and then it was our turn. I was doing my usual big smile and before I knew it my fiancé was grabbing my hands and telling me how much he loved me.” Elias was down on one knee and Stephanie was in complete shock. As she says, “The rest was a blur.” Stephanie was overwhelmed, but it was the best moment of their lives.
After getting engaged, Stephanie and Elias starting searching for the perfect photographer. Stephanie notes, “I was noticing a lot of the photographer's pictures looked very high school yearbook-ish. They all looked the same and so staged. As soon as I saw Olivia’s I immediately noticed a difference.” Stephanie knew that Olivia of Liv in the Moment Photography had to be their photographer.
Elias chose Stephanie’s ring on his own. Stephanie could not be happier, saying, “We never even looked at rings in person together. He picked the best ring. It is so me!”
