Snowflakes, Succulents and Sweethearts in Detroit: The Engagement of Amber and Adam

After matching on a dating app and meeting for two dates, Amber and Adam knew they had found 'the one' and both deleted the app from their phones! While celebrating New Year's Eve at Amber's house, Adam invited her outside where he proposed. Amber gushes, "One of my favorite things is fireworks, so as soon as I said 'yes', Adam set off our own firework show."
 

The ring that Adam proposed with was designed by Amber. She chose a gold band with a cluster of three diamonds, two framing the middle diamond. "I absolutely love that it has a classic look to it, but it is not something that I see all the time," Amber raves.
 

Erin, their photographer, had been taking pictures of Amber's family and friends for years, and they loved her photography style. It was no doubt that they'd pick her! She even helped pick their engagement session location. "We wanted the greenery look, as well as some outdoor ones in the snow," Amber explains. "We could not have loved the location more." Amber and Adam also picked neutral outfits to pop out of the natural scenery around them!
 

Wedding planning is going well for this happy couple. "It sometimes gets a little overwhelming, but overall we are having a lot of fun. We know this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing so we are trying to enjoy it as much as we can," Amber shares. They know generally what they want but are ironing out some of the finer details for their September wedding that will be taking place where they got engaged.
