A Snowy Ceremony in Garden of the Gods, Colorado: The Elopement of Isabelle Short-Gomez and Adrian Gomez

While Isabelle was leading a tour in college, she met her future husband. "We immediately hit it off through mutual friends and have been inseparable ever since," Isabelle gushes. After moving to a new city, Adrian proposed when they got done exploring their new home!
 

As soon as they were engaged, Isabelle knew she wanted to have a destination elopement. Pinterest helped Isabelle and Adrian decide on the location, color scheme and theme of their wedding and became a best friend for Isabelle's planning process, along with Instagram. Isabelle admits, "Planning a destination elopement without being a local to the area, I truly relied on social media and the recommendations through online platforms to choose our wedding vendors. All of our vendors went above and beyond, working with me out of town to make our special day come together seamlessly."
 

Isabelle had specific wants and needs for her wedding dress due to the locale of their wedding. "I wanted a style that felt truly me, made me feel beautiful and that was easy to hike in," Isabelle shares. "I tried on so many dresses but the second I put it on I knew it was the one!" We think she looks stunning in this simple yet dramatic gown. The addition of the pearl-encrusted veil is simply gorgeous, too!
 

Though they made the choice to elope without their families present, they still celebrated with their parents' traditions, which made the day even more special. All the time they were able to spend together is where they made the most memories. "We were fully being present, just us. Hiking together to the top of the rocks, getting smiles from other hikers and looks of astonishment made our day so special," Isabelle recalls.

Isabelle and Adrian advise, "Our wedding day was one to never forget, every single detail came together to make it all so special.
