A Local Inspiration Shoot Blends the Fresh & the Classic using Sophisticated Jewel Tones & Succulent Botanicals.
THE FEEL
For this shoot, we wanted something very modern with a few natural elements thrown in to create contrast. The backdrop of ivy could not have been more perfect; the arrangements created by Modern Day Floral were just the natural touch we were hoping to incorporate. I think my favorite detail was the table! Lost & Found Antiques has so many beautiful pieces of furniture, but this table was ideal as a sweetheart table for our gorgeous couple. With the table as our base, we set it with gold chargers, square plates, stemless glassware and gold silverware – giving the typical place setting a modern spin.
THE FASHION
The bride’s dress was simply stunning- layers of ruffles in the skirt, a detailed bodice, and a halter complemented her slender frame. The groom’s light grey suit paired with a bow tie and pocket square pulled the couple’s look together. The bride and groom’s outfits weren’t the only thing that looked great. Their hair and the bride’s makeup were styled by Jennifer Grace Stylist and Allison Bower Makeup Artist. This talented duo is hard to beat. The bride’s gold eyeshadow and dramatic shades were just right for the twilight setting.
THE CAKE
Our simple cake, designed to perfection by MiraBella Confections, was adorned with gold succulents and was delicious as it was pretty. What’s a wedding without a little sugar?
THE STYLE
The stationery, created by Tara Joy Designs, played an important part in the shoot. Chevrons can’t be beat and the green made everything pop.
