In addition to paintings and sketches, Hallie creates large-scale custom chalk wall installations exclusively at The Rutledge in Grand Rapids. Measuring 18 by 14.5 feet, the statement wall transforms into a personalized artistic centerpiece featuring florals, lettering and hidden nods to the couple’s personality. “Whether it’s their favorite football team, Disney characters or inside jokes, I love sneaking in little personal vignettes that make the artwork truly one-of-a-kind,” Hallie explains.
Before the wedding day, couples receive a digital sketch mock-up so they can visualize the final installation within the venue space. The finished result serves as both décor and an interactive backdrop for guest photos throughout the celebration!
