The Wedding Story of Richard and Rodica Godlewski

Although we love ourselves a grand-scale affair with large ballrooms, tents or barns, intimate weddings certainly hold their own when it comes to being every bit as wonderful. Actually smaller weddings in intimate spaces allow for the little details to be magnified and for the couple to be celebrated with the spotlight on them. Such was the case with the wedding between Richard and Rodica, held at La Dulce, a tapas restaurant in Royal Oak, Michigan. La Dulce was specifically designed to reflect an evening in Madrid, full of food, laughter and conversation. 

We adored how they took a small, industrial space and dressed it up with bright floral and details of gold. And that macaron-styled cake is kind of everything we've ever wanted in a wedding dessert.
