You'll Swoon over this Surprise Poppy Field Sunrise Engagement: The Engagement of Aubree and Joey

Aubree and Joey hit it off as high school sweethearts and have been nearly inseparable for seven years! Knowing the couple had a sunrise photoshoot coming up, Joey seized the opportunity and got down on one knee. It took Aubree completely by surprise! “I was in shock, to say the least, even though I had some inclinations that it might happen, there’s still nothing that will prepare you for that moment!” she says.

Aubree hinted to Joey that she’d want a rose gold ring, and he took care of the rest. “My favorite thing about it is that he picked it out… I know. Cheesy, but it’s true,” Aubree says. “He knows me better than I know myself and found something both unique and elegant and I’m in love with it!”

Because most stores were closed due to COVID-19, Aubree bought her red dress online as a last-minute purchase. Surrounded by poppies, this dress truly stands out! Joey added a flower lapel pin to his suit to complement the flowers and Aubree’s outfit. We love a couple that can style together!

Intimacy and elegance are two goals in mind for this couple’s wedding, and they’re already moving quickly in the planning process. “I had planned on taking everything pretty slow. I wanted to soak in this beautiful time of being engaged. And I did. For a day,” Aubree jokes. “I think after dating for seven years, you kind of figure out what you want as you go and for me, I decided to go for it.” We can’t wait to see how the pair’s big day unfolds!
