"WeddingDay's Best Wedding Photograph of 2024" Contest

WeddingDay simply could not do what we do without our Midwest photographers! That's why we choose to celebrate the end of each year by showcasing their incredible talent and the priceless moments they've captured in our annual photography contest! We love to celebrate all stages of love, and that's why this year, we're accepting submissions in two categories: real weddings and engagement sessions. 

All submissions must be entered by filling out the contest form below and uploading a photo (limit one photo per category per photographer) by Saturday, November 30th at 11:59 p.m. (EST). On Sunday, December 1st, all submissions will be uploaded to our Facebook page and the voting begins! We will urge our 50,000+ social media followers to vote for their favorites. This is also the perfect opportunity to interact with your own fans as you encourage them to vote for your photo(s) until Monday, December 9th at 3:00 pm (EST)–when we will announce the winners! 

The two winning photos (as voted by the public) will appear in our 2025 print Look Book, which will give your photography business free exposure to couples all over the Midwest (throughout the entire year of 2025!). We're also excited to announce that we will be selecting two Editors' Picks (one photo from each category, as voted on by the WeddingDay staff) that will also appear in our 2025 Look Book as well!

Rules & Regulations

• One photo entry per photography business (You may enter just one category or both categories–your choice!)
• The submitted photo must be from a professional photographer based in the Midwest (the location of the photo may be anywhere!)
• The photographer must submit the photo his/herself (couples, feel free to encourage your photographer, but the submission must come directly from them!)
• The submitted photo must contain a couple–bride and groom, bride and bride, or groom and groom! (More people can be included in the photo, as long as the couple is pictured!)
• The submitted photo must be from a 2024 wedding and/or engagement session
• No watermarks, please!
• High resolution file size, requested (must be large enough for print!)
