The Vision
The Indiana Design Center provided the perfect backdrop for this minimalistic, modern, clean and fresh shoot. Why go crazy with the details? Less fuss translates into a surprising and elegant look.
Simple but classic lines, a little bit of texture and small pops of vibrant color were the inspiration and the result is simple, fun and chic.
THE BRIDE & GROOM’S APPAREL
A satin trumpet gown from Blue House Bridal is just the right touch for a classy, modern soiree and our model, Megan Mellinger, wore it beautifully.
Greg Braun, our dashing groom, went to his closet and picked out a simple suit jacket and trousers for a casual but fun vibe.
The Decor
Using stark white paired with bright colors and lucite elements brought this décor to life. Other elements included an ombre escort card display, a confetti and poof toss table and, of course, candlelight.
The Florals
The ombre look in these florals is breathtaking! Designers used a huge variety of blooms with colors ranging from deep purples to bright oranges to vibrant pinks. Just a few of the flowers and greenery: roses, ranunculus, rice flower, godetia, carnations and various kinds of chrysanthemums.
The Cake
Simple white tiers stacked asymmetrically hide a surprise pop of color inside – tri-colored pink layers of cake!
Hair & Makeup
The model did her own hair, adding to the ease and simplicity we were emphasizing for this photo shoot. The makeup was effortless and bold at the same time – vibrant without the drama.
