Please tell us a little more about your business.

"We are a fine art wedding planning and design business that specializes in timeless, organic and joyful celebrations! My love for hospitality and creating experiences for others all began when I was a girl growing up in a family who owned a catering business! From then on, I watched as my grandmother, mother and aunts taught me how to bring joy-filled and meaningful spaces to life both at home and in celebrations. Simply Be So began out of a desire to continue that legacy and create experiences for couples and clients that are walking through an extremely meaningful and significant time of life. We have a small and talented team of associate planners and designers along with my husband, Chad, who loves our couples and serves them so well during the engagement season and celebration weekend!"
 

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"When we say 'fine art' wedding planning and design, much of that means we are incredibly intentional with each couple and how we can best reflect each one and what they most value in their marriage. Every part of the process is about this. A couple is getting married to team up to bring something extremely powerful to the world together, and we get to be the agents that help them think through the impact of that celebration! We become a teammate or partner during this season to work alongside them and to help them and their family think intentionally about something they spend a lot of time, money and energy planning. We want each couple and their families to be able to enjoy this season and celebration to the fullest, because it’s no small deal to enter into this new life stage and isn’t worth just running into with overwhelmed stress! We take care of as much or as little as needed and take off the weight of many logistics, numbers, research, vendor communication and event execution so that they can spend their time more focused on those people and moments that matter most."
 

Do you have anything else exciting that you would like to share?

"We expanded our team who you can meet here! We are also excited to further announce details on our newest team member out in Maine, where we are developing an east coast SBS studio! More details to come in 2018!"

What inspires you as a planner?

"I’m inspired by the authentic love that couples have for each other and the excitement and anticipation they have in planning for not only their wedding but their marriage together. I am inspired by these meaningful experiences and the timeless beauty we get to create to celebrate them every day!"

What do you love most about helping a couple with their wedding?

"I think I equally love the anticipation and intentionality of planning and designing the celebration and the actual celebration day when we see all the pieces come together to create the wedding weekend experience for the couple and their loved ones."
