So you want to add some drama to your wedding? Just add a drama llama! Jokes aside, this shoot is bursting with earthy, outdoor vibes and about the cutest (and best dressed) llamas we ever laid eyes on. For Allison Mayer, she wanted to up the ante when it came to this vineyard style shoot, proving that it can have more than just a rustic vibe. It can be glam, edgy and unique, too.
Allison says, “The first design concept was the round table with the tree in the middle. We wanted to work with the current large/extended table trend but also be very different by making a circular, hollow center table. We also wanted to use a rich, velvet linen as a strong contrast to the earthy vines. We started with that as the focal point and then began to add elements around that. This was over lunch with Uncommonly Styled, Knox Flowers & Blue Llama events.”
The nude and very sparkly Rue de Seine Moonlight Valentina was the perfect match and everything the team imagined, but they found many boutiques didn't carry it. Luckily, a team member drove from Indianapolis to Atlanta to pick it up personally from Kelly’s Closet. A second and equally lovely dress was sourced from LUXEredux Bridal and helped the team showcase their vision of classic, modern and edgy!
The keys to the lovely decor? Rich, navy velvet, mixed metals, glam stationery, loose, romantic signage and some pretty special guests.
