When you think of the French Riviera, you certainly envision romance. What’s so lovely about this style shoot, coordinated by Gabriella Ammiano of V Agency, are the old and modern design elements, a pairing we can’t get enough of! Besides the fun bistro table, striped umbrella and pops of blue, Gabriella infused bold palm prints, color and her own grandmother’s vintage 1960's ring.

Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens was full of flowers, plants and European accents, proving to be the perfect setting. An impressive patio, gorgeous sunlight and natural elements like hedge walls and stone were huge draws. Italian Ruscus added a deep green hue and movement while other florals like apricots, Monstera leaves, roses, Protea, tulips and palms added to the bright, citrus colors.

Bronze, beachy and natural were the themes behind the bridal look that included loose waves and a smokey eye. Gabriella says, “The dress was a sheath style with vintage, silver beading along the bodice and delicate beading string straps. There was a low back that gave off a sexy element and showed off the model’s tattoo. The vibe of the dress was something that the model could move in effortlessly and confidently.”

“When talking about the stationery, the first thing I mentioned was a beautiful watercolor photo of the coast of France on the RSVP card,” says Gabriella. "The stationery company used the color palette to create a soft, romantic design with cursive font, cork envelope liner, and French stamps. The company did a great job and creating signage with all the colors in our palette. Every sign was a different color. We also used French phrases and words on the signs to bring the theme to life.”

Gabriella says, “The decor items were chosen based on the balance of modern and vintage, bold and soft. The bright colors, vintage charm, and luxurious texture were chosen to make an impact. Since we were unable to travel to the French Riviera, we had to make design and decor decisions that would turn the venue into the coast of France.”
