The Engagement of Chandler and Lacey

Chandler and Lacey met at school through mutual friends and immediately hit it off. Chandler soon decided that he had to ask Lacey to marry him. He arranged one of the sweetest proposals! Lacey adds, “Chandler proposed to me through video! He arranged for me to get my nails done at my favorite nail salon with a friend. While I was getting my nails done, he was getting set up in Humboldt Park for me to arrive.” Lacey and her friend got finished with their nail appointment and her friend recommended that they go to the park for lunch. Lacey continues, “While walking in the park, she showed me the video he had put together to show how much he thinks of me and a love poem talking through our journey together. By the end of the video, there he was, standing there with a sign asking me to marry him!”
 

Lacey and Chandler wanted a fun engagement session so they picked Arielle Gallione to take their photos! Lacey says, “I work in advertising and some of the creatives at my job even mentioned her to us. After those recommendations from people we trusted and seeing her work, we decided to book her, and we are glad we did!”

Lacey actually helped to pick out her ring. She and Chandler had been eyeing rings months before the proposal. Lacey adds, “He wanted to get my input because he wanted to make sure he got me something special and a ring I would love. The ring he ended up going with was one that I absolutely loved. I could tell he really took all of my input into consideration once I saw the ring!”
 

Lacey and Chandler wanted to do several looks for their engagement session. She says, “We knew we wanted to do something a little formal and something a little more casual as well. We were able to pick 3 locations and 3 outfits; however, we prioritized the locations and we chose our outfits based on the locations we wanted to shoot at.” It was nice to be able to do a variety of looks!
