An Engagement Session on a Woodland Trail: The Engagement of Heather and Zac

Heather and Zac met in their office, and soon knew they wanted to be more than friends. Due to office policy against workplace dating, Heather left her position so the couple could pursue a relationship--and regularly get tacos, like their first date! When the pair was attending a car show, Zac popped the question, taking Heather by delighted surprise. 

The pair picked out the ring together. Heather explains, “I love the uniqueness of the design and its sparkle. The ring is not a diamond, but no one has been able to tell the difference. It was important to me that it be an ethically sourced pick, we went with Moissanite.”

Heather was already familiar with Julie of Simply Seeking Photography because they are related. Still, she was impressed by Julie’s knack for visual storytelling. She explains, “I love the way Julie was able to capture our love and zest for life in these pictures. I still can’t pick a favorite.”

The planning process has been going well for the couple so far. Heather says that the goal is to keep their ceremony simple. “Everything is falling into place pretty easily for us and we have similar taste, so there’s not much need to compromise,” she adds.
