This Charming Indianapolis Wedding is Full of Rich Color: The Real Wedding of Kristi and Jake Rankin

Kristi and Jake met in downtown Indianapolis. After their first date, they knew it was a match made in heaven! Jake wanted to make the holidays a little sweeter, so he proposed at Millennium Park in Chicago around Christmas time! 

 

We love the glamorous beaded detail on Kristi’s gown from Nancy's Bridal Boutique. “I had a strong idea that I wanted mermaid style and dainty straps or sleeves,” Kristi notes. “I knew it was the one when I tried it on!” 

 

The pair knew they wanted to have lots of flowers and rich colors in their wedding, but the first step was securing a location for their ceremony. Because Kristi had worked as an intern to a wedding coordinator, she came into the planning process prepared!
