Catch Your One True Love in This Playful Pokemon E-Session: The Engagement of Deena and Chris

Deena first crossed paths with Chris on Bumble. As soon as the pair knew it was meant to be, Chris didn’t waste a moment! During the couple’s trip to Florida, he got down on one knee on the beach and asked Deena for her hand. We love a good swoon-worthy sunset proposal! 

Partnering with a local jewelry company, Chris designed Deena’s ring all on his own. “He wanted to include my Dad, who passed away in February 2011, somehow in the proposal, so he used the original diamond my Dad used to propose to my Mom as my center stone for my engagement ring,” Deena explains. “I love the sentimental value my ring has because whenever I look at it, I’m reminded of two of the most important people in my life.”

Knowing Olivia from Liv in the Moment Photography as a friend, along with her incredible portfolio, helped make this couple’s choice of a photographer easy. “Her photos were phenomenal on her website and you could feel the happiness and joy radiate from them,” notes Deena. “I think the reason her photos come across so well is because she's able to make her clients feel at ease right away. When we had our photo session, there were times when we forgot we were in front of the camera and just got lost in the moment.”

The pair wanted to create a look that was uniquely them--and they love playing Pokemon Go together! We can’t wait to see what else they celebrate with for their wedding day!
