This Adventurous Elopement Style Shoot at the Indiana Dunes Has An Artistic Boho Flair

Satisfy your west coast dreams right here in the Midwest with this organic beach style shoot! Olivia of Kindred + Co Photography saw artistic beauty in the dunes near Lake Michigan, and pulled together a beautiful shoot that is bound to thrill any boho spirit! 

This gown has a subtle touch of lace and a lightweight feel that truly makes a statement for this boho bride. The gorgeous autumnal florals in the model's hairpiece, designed by Floracultured, help her dark berry lip pop! 

The team wanted to find a locale that was remote and authentically adventurous. Choosing the dunes was a logistical challenge, but the vendors rose to the occasion, hiking at least one mile with all of their equipment to find the perfect shooting spot. Even the model had to make a long trek in her gown! “It was very authentic to the adventure elopement experience, as the car was the easiest place for her to change upon arrival,” Olivia notes. “She handled it with beauty and grace, and her incredible fitness and dancer background helped her to make the trek without hardly one hair out of place.”

The black and jeweled tones of the tablescape contrast well with the light natural surroundings. The desserts, varying from a naked cake with a chocolate drip and topped with macarons to a watercolor smear cake and a rustic naturally frosted cake, are meant to satisfy anyone’s wild side! This multi-cake spread is a trend that Olivia and the team believes will catch on fast!
