A Blushing, Minimal Styled Micro Wedding in St. Louis

Blushing minimalist style has never looked so good! The idea for this style shoot popped into the mind of Breanna Parker-Gills, owner of Parker Gills Events, when she was envisioning her ideal client. Because of COVID-19, Breanna and her team were unable to host this shoot at a wedding venue. However, this photography studio acted as the perfect canvas to highlight what could be possible for couples in the future!

Highlighting a curvy, black bride was a must in Breanna’s vision, so the team worked to pick a look that would make this model’s natural beauty shine. “The gown we selected fit perfectly with the romantic and flowy vibe we were going for,” Breanna notes. “The floral textures  complemented the table design and her shape well.” Neutral and gold tones were chosen for her makeup to match the gown's soft features.

Using a soft color palette, the team focused on contrasting blush and rose gold with ivory and black. These florals create a dreamy aspect that is classically glamorous. The textured linens add a touch of a trendy, modern style that pairs well with the delicate tones of the napkins. This shoot’s romantic vibes are off the charts!
