This Greenhouse Michigan Wedding Has Sweet Cozy Lighting: Real Wedding of Nicole Bogden-Haw & Brian Haw

Virtual sparks flew when Nicole swiped right on Brian’s profile. After their initial first date, the couple knew they had found something special. After nearly four years of dating, the pair took a trip to New York City, where Brian dropped to one knee in Central Park. “It was very romantic. New York City is one of my favorite cities,” Nicole gushes.

 

Nicole went shopping for her dress in Chicago because that was the city where she and Brian fell in love. She chose the second gown she tried on and instantly knew it was 'the one'!

 

Because Nicole is obsessed with plants, choosing a greenhouse venue was a no-brainer. However, they had to shift their larger event to something more intimate due to COVID regulations. “We got engaged 6 months before the pandemic happened, so we definitely couldn’t even have some of the things we wanted,” Nicole says. “But the day was perfect anyway, and we’re very fortunate.”

 

 

What we love

Brian’s mother passed before the couple’s wedding day, so they added in a special way to honor her. Brian walked a bouquet of flowers down the aisle and placed it on the chair where she would have sat. “It was very touching,” Nicole adds.

 

 

Advice from the couple

Nicole urges couples to pack their bags for their honeymoon before the wedding to save time. “You will thank us later!”
